Summary, etc Harry “Tony” Leith-Ross was born on January 27, 1886 in Saint Pierre, Mauritius. He was a British-American landscape painter and teacher. He taught at the art colonies in Woodstock, New York and Rockport, Maine and later was part of the art colony in New Hope Pennsylvania. Mr. Ross was Mr. Van Houten’s Nephew. He passed away on March 1, 1973 in Pineville, Pennsylvania.
