In an effort to save the oral history of the Taos Indians, Ms. Grant has written a two part history. The first part concerns the coming of the Spaniards and the decades following, including early written accounts by the Spaniards of those times. The second part begins in the 19th century and focuses more on tales that Ms. Grant was able to hear and reproduce in writing. |
