Hugh Riker was born on December 8, 1921 in Muir, MI. He grew up in Flint where he attended the Flint Institute of Art. He also attended Arts in Milwaukee, School of Practical Arts in Boston and Chenard School of Design in Los Angeles, CA. Mr. Riker was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was known much for his drawings of historic Court houses, authorship and illustrations. He passed away July 1, 2004.
