Lloyd Moylan was born in 1893 in St. Paul, Minnesota. He specialized in Southwest Indian Subjects and was also a museum curator and muralist. He studied at the Minneapolis Art Institute, the Art Students League in New York and the Broadmore Art Academy in Colorado Springs. He passed away in 1963 in Gallup, New Mexico.
