Newspaper article and photograph of Swink's gambling Hall

Article reads : This one-story adobe building had a fascinating history in its various incarnation. Built as a brewery, it was soon converted into Schwenk's Gambling Hall, one of the largest gaming Places in the state at the time. Later it was used as a dance hall and it witnessed a number of fights and murders. By the 30s, when this picture was probable made, it was a placid service station. This old photo was loaned to the Range's :Looking Back" series by Victor Grant of Cimarron.
