The French Quarter restaurant is a favorite of Portia "Po" Paltrow and her happy band of quilters, the Queen Bees -- and not just because the proprietor and chef, Picasso, does wonders for their collective palates, but because the relative newcomer is one of the warmest, friendliest people in the town of Crestwood, Kansas. So when Picasso's glamorous wife, Laurel St. Pierre, is murdered, the town is in an uproar and the Queen Bees are determined to help poor Picasso through a difficult time. They have no idea just how hard it's going to get, especially when Picasso becomes the prime suspect. If there's one thing Po knows, it's that Picasso did not murder his wife. She and her sleuthing quilters are going to have to dig deep to find out what happened to Laurel.
