In rural southern Colorado, the Army is attempting a land grab via Eminent Domain. Johnny Kimberly is the scion of a dying culture. He is faced with fighting a losing battle or selling out. Allied with him is an ad-hoc coalition of ranchers, farmers, ecologists and artists. The Army has the deepest pockets and the coalition is the underdog. Together they face a crises against a national security apparatus run amok.
